Director/VP, Network Development

Technorati Media has an opportunity for a top Director/VP of Network Development who has a balanced blend of strategic and execution skills. Serving both publishers and advertisers, this new management role will be responsible for leading and building a business development team focused on the deployment of automated ad serving, targeting, billing, analytics and CRM applications.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations of Technorati Media's network of blogs and social media publishers.
  • Develop strategies and programs, including the sourcing and evaluation of new business publishers, partners, technologies, and corporate alliances.
  • Identify and solicit strategic new website publishers to add to Technorati Media's ad network, managing all stages of the deal cycle, including prospecting, qualifying, deal-modeling, proposals, negotiations and implementation transitions.
  • Ensure creative and timely execution of publisher partnerships for ad sales and/or ad insertion, achieving/exceeding quotas on a regular basis.
  • Work closely with Partner Solutions and other customer support personnel so that publishers become activated in Technorati's ad network asap.
  • Ensure the successful management of existing publisher relationships, regularly reviewing publisher accounts regarding campaign optimization, growth strategies, and ancillary opportunities and building long-term strategic relationships with the highest level of customer service.
  • Establish revenue goals through collaborative meetings with other executives and board members, including establishment of individual business development rep goals (and related compensation plans) and managing the entire process from sourcing through rollout.
  • Build and manage a top-tier, energetic, and high-performing business development team with a well-deserved reputation for innovation and exceptional service.
  • Work with VP of Marketing to develop partner marketing programs, sales collateral, presentations, sales tools, competitive analysis and general sales channel support.
  • Develop and track metrics and success criteria for all business development programs and activities.
  • Ensure effective visibility in the industry and ensure that Technorati is "top of mind" with potential business and strategic partners.
  • Be a role model for the company culture.
  • Act as spokesperson for Technorati Media, speaking at conferences and other industry events.

Requirements

  • At least five years experience as a successful senior business development professional within media, advertising, online content management/syndication, and/or Internet spaces. Prior Ad Network experience is preferred. Depending on your experience, you will be considered as a Director or VP.
  • A sophisticated knowledge of online advertising and a broad understanding of media, including existing, successful relationships within media companies and advertising and online media infrastructure providers.
  • The ability to quickly reach and convene decision makers, introduce a new technical solution and secure adoption.
  • Desire to contribute his/her vision, experience and hard work to help make Technorati a great company.
  • Proven business development track record of selling strategic, innovative, high-value, service-based solutions to VP and "C-level" executives, reaching and exceeding targets on a regular basis.
  • Knowledge of the interactive advertising ecosystem, CDN technology and history is essential.
  • Possess strong negotiation skills and solidly manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Must be able to think creatively "on his/her feet" and have a proven track record in aligning and driving deals to successful completion in consultative approach.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a results-driven, team-oriented environment.

Assistant Publisher Account Manager - Launch your career with an exciting startup!

Technorati Media is looking for a high energy, smart and fun individual who communicates effectively and is interested in the online advertising industry. You’ll be responsible for managing relationships with our various publishers, providing insight into ways to better monetize their site and provide support and reporting expertise. Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the scheduling, production and implementation of online advertising campaigns.

Front-end Web Developer

We are looking for a talented Web Developer who can thrive in a fast-paced environment with user-centered, iterative design and development cycles. You will work primarily on the team responsible for user experience with other Web Developers, Designers, Product Managers, and Engineers in a development environment that is extremely collaborative.   • You will be expected to significantly contribute in the writing of valid, well-organized (X)HTML, CSS, and Javascript.
  • You will be responsible for developing production-level code as well as proof-of-concepts and prototypes. Your work must be fully cross browser compliant.
  • You will take ownership of your individual projects and utilize your hands-on experience to interface and collaborate on parallel projects.

Requirements

  • You have a strong command of (X)HTML, CSS, Javascript, Ajax and recent development and best practices in each.
  • You have familiarity with semantic (X)HTML and microformats.

IT Support Technician

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for the proper installation, maintenance and disposal of desktop and laptop computers, and printers.
  • Manage the register of IT assets and audit IT licensing arrangements.
  • Acting as the main contact providing user support to ensure the effective and timely resolution of technical problems, keeping employees informed of the status of their request for support.
  • Establish a process for documenting solutions regarding standard IT applications and keeping the IT knowledge base updated.
  • Create and manage the schedule to insure current backups of email and executive laptop computers.
